Our program is straightforward and convenient. Here’s how it works:
- Complete the Online Registration
Once you’re ready to start, you’ll go through our online registration process, which includes a series of questions, videos, and documents to review, complete, and sign. This step takes about 30 minutes and can be done entirely on your smartphone. The cost is $125/month with other options available. - Schedule Your Telehealth Visit
After finishing your registration and making your payment, we’ll contact you with details to schedule your telehealth visit with your provider. - Meet with your provider
Once you meet with your provider, you will review treatment options together and begin the plan that best aligns with your individual needs.
Congratulations! You’re officially in a treatment program—all without leaving the comfort of your home or workplace.
Cost and Insurance Coverage
Most insurance plans will cover the cost of your prescription, but we recommend confirming coverage details directly with your insurance provider before starting the program.
If your insurance doesn’t cover the medication, don’t worry—affordable options are available. We recommend using resources like GoodRx or SingleCare to find discounted prices for your prescription.
The program itself costs $125 per month, which is separate from your medication costs. We are working to get this covered by your insurance, but currently, it is not.

What About Benzodiazepines?
We adhere to FDA guidelines regarding the use of buprenorphine in combination with benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Valium, Klonopin, and Restoril. There is a well-documented risk of severe respiratory depression and death when these medications are taken together. It’s critical that you understand this risk—it will be your responsibility, not ours. Consider this your warning.
That said, the FDA has made it clear that buprenorphine treatment should not be withheld solely due to the use of prescribed benzodiazepines. Our role is to inform you of the risks involved; your role is to make informed decisions about your care.
Additionally, it’s your responsibility to inform any other healthcare providers about your buprenorphine treatment. This allows them to adjust your treatment plan if necessary to ensure your safety.

What If My Medication Is Lost or Stolen?
Unfortunately, we are unable to replace lost or stolen medication through telemedicine. It is your responsibility to securely store your medication, preferably in a locked and protected location.
If you are unable to safeguard your medication, it may indicate that a telemedicine program is not the best fit for you. Protecting your medication is essential for both your safety and the integrity of your treatment.
